Three Cape Town siblings who have been missing for more than a week, were last seen with a man identified as their father.
This was confirmed to The South African on Wednesday by South African Police Service (SAPS).
The missing children are Alessia Khumalo, 7, Perez Khumalo, 4, and Atarah Khumalo, 1.
According to a missing children alert published by The Pink Ladies, the siblings were last seen at their Bestenbier Avenue home in Elsies River at about 12:00 on 27 July.
Police open missing persons enquiry
Bishop Lavis Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) detectives have opened a missing persons enquiry.
SAPS spokesperson Constable Ndakhe Gwala confirmed: “The children were last seen on Monday 27 July 2026 with their father, who claimed to be taking them out for ice cream but never returned.”
Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
