The 65-year-old businessman faces at least 20 charges, including human trafficking, kidnapping and sexual assault.
More details have emerged on some of the charges being faced by a Durban businessman accused of luring desperate job seekers to KZN with false promises of employment.

The man made a brief appearance in the Durban Magistrate's Court on Wednesday following his arrest at his Umhlanga home yesterday.
Businessman accused of luring women with job offers
According to the State, the three victims were brought from Johannesburg four years ago with the promise of jobs selling SIM cards at a casino or working at a call centre.
It is alleged that once they arrived in Durban, they were taken to a house where the doors were kept locked and their movements monitored and restricted.
The women were then allegedly forced to perform sexual acts for clients, provide escort services and appear on an adult website.
The accused businessman is also facing charges related to the distribution of classified sexually explicit material and contravention of the Films and Publications Act.
This relates to the alleged creation and dissemination of pornographic material online.
The matter was postponed to next Tuesday for a formal bail application, which the state will oppose.
The man, who can only be named after he pleads, is being kept at the hospital section of Westville Prison after his lawyer provided a medical note indicating health issues.
