SA schools First XV action continued this past Women’s Day long weekend. However, not many of the Top 20-ranked schools were in action, thus resulting in few changes in the latest rankings.
None of the top three schools – Paarl Gimnasium, Stellenberg or Paul Roos – were in action.
Fourth-placed Garsfontein thrashed EG Jansen 76-5, while fifth-ranked Grey College proved far too strong for 16th-placed Outeniqua, winning 45-17.
Sixth-placed Paarl Boys’ High had the weekend off, while seventh-ranked Affies beat Pretoria Boys High 45-18 to claim Pretoria bragging rights.
Northwood, Monument and Maritzburg College round out the Top 10.
Although most schools have only two matches remaining at most this season, plenty can still change in the rankings.
